Prenatal Yoga Classes
Increase your strength in body and mind to help ease the pain of birthing, and be able to return to fitness quicker once your baby is born.
Pregnancy is a special time, where your body goes through many changes as your baby grows within, and your mind has to deal with far too many thoughts, excitement, fears and expectations.
Special prenatal yoga classes prepare you for a more comfortable pregnancy, an easier birth and a quicker recovery to your pre-baby body.
A qualified Bliss Baby Prenatal Yoga Specialist, Stacey Carol Clarke will give you tools to cope with labour, stay strong in body and mind, and reduce aches, pains and conditions associated with pregnancy; such as aching hips, fluid retention, carpal tunnel syndrome, heartburn, morning sickness, painful lower back, sciatica, sacroiliac pain, diastasis rectus and pubic symphysis disorder.
If you're pregnant you're welcome to attend the other yoga and flexibility classes. Please remember that it's very important that you make the teacher aware of your pregnancy before you begin the class, especially if you're in your first trimester (1-14 weeks).
There's no need to have been practicing yoga before you were pregnant, you can start your yoga journey with us at Maitri Fitness.
Small classes - generally under 10 people.
There's no need to book, just come in 10 minutes before class to complete a new student form.
