Power Vinyasa yoga, is a strong and smooth flowing practice in which movement is synchronized to the breath. By flowing through one pose to another like a dance, the breath becomes an important component as you move your body into different yoga poses with each inhale and exhale.
With the emphasis being on strength and flexibility, Power Vinyasa is open to all levels but most generally appeals to those who are already quite fit and enjoy exercising. You should expect to keep moving, not just being still and stretching, and prepare to work up a sweat! Our Power Vinyasa yoga does not follow a set series of poses and therefore classes can vary widely.
Our Power Vinyasa yoga teachers at Maitri Fitness like to deliver a strong, balanced practice that challenges students physically as well as mentally, aiming to rejuvenate the body and calm the mind.
