Pole Dance Classes
At Maitri Fitness you will find a level and type of pole dancing to suit your style.
We really LOVE pole dancing and can't wait to share some pole moves with you so that you can love it too.
Pole dance classes are taught by instructors who are certified through the most comprehensive pole dance training that is available on the market, because we want you to have the best training in the safest possible environment.
If you're booking a private class then it will be focussed around what you want, from the mixture of what we offer. You can practice those stubborn pole moves that take extra work, try out additional moves suitable for your level or try more advanced moves if you're ready.

Pole dance classes
Our pole dance classes are based on a 10 week term so that you can progress through the pole dance levels in a safe, guided structure. Currently we have level 1-8, plus a Prima pole class that is beyond level 8, for those who want to find new fitness and pole dance limits.
Each week in class you learn some new moves and a bit towards a pole dance that incorporates the core moves for that level. At the end of each term you will have the chance to showcase your new pole dancing moves to family and friends. They get to see what you've been up to and where all those mysterious 'pole kisses' (aka bruises) have come from.
Pole fitness classes
If you want a challenging and fun way to get fit that leaves you with rock-hard abs then pole fitness is the one for you.
There is no dance learnt in this class, so if you're a little unco then this may be a better option to try first. Or it's a perfect second class to help with your overall fitness, to lose weight and to improve your pole dancing ability, strength and stamina.
Pole mix classes
Do you love to dance and/or get bored easily? Our pole mix classes have a different dance every 2 weeks that is choreographed by our performing arts specialist.
At the moment the pole dance classes are for females only, but guys are more than welcome to book a private or small group class and if we get enough interest we'll put a regular class on the timetable.
