1kg chicken mince
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (gluten free)
1 tablespoon green curry paste
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (optional if using a non stick frying pan)
- Heat sesame oil over medium flame and add curry paste. Stir and add garlic and onions. Stir occasionally and once the onions are browned remove from heat.
- Combine all ingredients (apart from olive oil) in a glass bowl, adding the garlic and onion mix once they have had a little time to cool.
- Heat oil in pan - if required - while starting to form the burger patties. Take half a handful and roll into a ball between hands. Then place flatten out to a burger shape before placing in pan.
- Turn once during cooking, and ensure they are cooked through before eating.
